Goldberg Segalla has announced the addition of Francisco F. Guzmán to its Workers’ Compensation group in Princeton. Guzmán focuses on representing clients in workers’ compensation claims, offering counsel and defense to employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators from the beginning of a case through trial. His responsibilities include handling investigations, developing case strategies, drafting pleadings, managing discovery and depositions, preparing for trials, and making court appearances.
Guzmán brings experience from his time at several regional and national law firms where he represented business entities and insurance carriers across various practice areas such as premises liability, professional liability, and employment law.
During his academic career at Rutgers Law School, Guzmán served as an executive editor for the Rutgers University Law Review. He was also a Henry J. Raimondo Legislative Fellow with the Eagleton Institute of Politics’ Graduate Fellowship Program in Politics and Government. In this role, he worked within the office of the chief counsel for the New Jersey State Senate Minority Office.
Guzmán holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Richard Stockton College and a Juris Doctor degree from Rutgers Law School.
