California's Director of Finance, Joe Stephenshaw, is set to conduct a media briefing regarding Governor Gavin Newsom's budget proposal for the fiscal year 2025-26. The budget will be officially sent to the Legislature on Friday. Earlier this week, Governor Newsom provided an overview of the budget in the Central Valley.
The briefing is scheduled for Friday, January 10 at around 10 a.m. It will take place in the Media Briefing Room located at Swing Space Building, 1021 O Street, Sacramento. The event will also be available via livestream on the Governor’s YouTube page.
The press event is exclusively open to credentialed media representatives who are required to RSVP by clicking here no later than 10 p.m., January 9.
