Governor Gavin Newsom has announced the launch of a redesigned CA.gov, California's official state website. This update is part of the state's digital strategy to enhance user experience and accessibility for Californians seeking government services.

The new CA.gov aims to make government services more efficient and accessible. Governor Newsom emphasized the importance of connecting people with their government, stating, "A big part of the work we’re doing to build a California for All is rooted in how accessible our government is to the people."

The revamped site offers easier access to hundreds of state services and departments. It focuses on user-friendly navigation and responsiveness, empowering residents to connect with necessary resources. The redesign builds on previous efforts that earned California an "A" grade from the Center for Digital Government.

Government Operations Secretary Amy Tong expressed pride in the updated website, highlighting its role in providing timely and accurate information. She stated, "We are laser-focused on ensuring every Californian can easily access state services through the internet."

State Chief Information Officer Liana Bailey-Crimmins noted that the improved site will serve as an information hub for residents. She said, "Building a seamless and accessible digital experience for Californians is our commitment."

The CA.gov website will continue evolving with features like scalable language translation options and personalized services based on user location.
